This guide shows you how to connect an AI assistant, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to your Appinion workspace so you can ask questions about your apps, reviews, ratings, and analytics directly from the AI assistant you already use. Connecting only requires pasting an MCP server URL and signing in once with your Appinion account. No additional setup is required.

Enable developer mode

In ChatGPT, go to Settings → Plugins → Developer Mode, then enable Developer Mode.

Create a new plugin

In the side menu find the Plugins and hit the  button.

Add a name, an icon and the address

Enter a name, an icon and description, paste the connection URL (https://api.appinion.pt/mcp), and select OAuth authentication.

Confirm and authorize

Login to appinion and auhtorize access.

Use it on a converstion

On a conversation, just type @appinion or it  and choose appinion

Test the connection

On a conversation ask “Show me the apps I have access to”. If it answers with your apps, the connection is successful.
